Jude Terna Ayua is a legal practitioner, creative artist, and writer. His practice areas and research interests are technology law, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency policy and regulation, and professional ethics. He writes broadly on the subjects of law, religion, politics, personal development, leadership, and history.
Purpose-driven, Jude is committed to helping people have self-awareness, realize their potential, and fulfill their purpose in life. He is deeply interested in mentoring young people, helping them to navigate their career paths, and teaching them values and principles needed for their success in life.
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (LL. B. ’19), Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus (BL ’21) and Harvard Divinity School (MTS ’24), Jude is a life-long learner, who sees formal education as essential to success in life and career, self-awareness as crucial to purposeful living. He founded The Law Mentor for mentoring young people.
Justice-oriented and enthusiastic about addressing social and political issues, especially relating to injustice, Jude’s interest in legal studies was borne out of a conviction to address issues of social justice in the Nigerian socio-political landscape. He is an advocate for ethical leadership, which he believes is fundamental to achieving social, political, and economic development, equity and inclusion in society. His enthusiasm and passion for advocacy led him to pursue a Master of Theological Studies at the Harvard Divinity School, particularly to seek the intersection between religion, politics, and professional ethics.
Jude espouses strong moral values and ethical practices, as he envisions a just and peaceful world, free of hate and violence. He is optimistic about the potential of technology to contribute to solving social problems, and strongly advocates for ethical use of technology.
Jude is Associate at Infusion Lawyers, a Crypto Policy Analyst with Crypto Asset Buyer (CAB), Creative Director of Jay Graphix, and Convener of Keep Hope Alive Nigeria. He has worked as the Personal and Research Assistant to Femi Falana, SAN (2022); Research Assistant to Harvard Professor of African Studies, Jacob K. Olupona (2023-2024).
