THE PURPOSE SERIES: DAY 28

Until you realise that your journey of purpose is so personal to you, you will likely not make good progress. If you keep waiting for others before you take every step, you are slowing yourself down. Follow God, and go at your own pace. You must not do at the pace of another.

Abraham obeyed and did not seek his family’s approval when God asked him to leave for a foreign country. Jesus, at the age of twelve, when many people, including his parents, thought he was too small, started teaching in the temple. David ignored his older brother’s rebuke and faced Goliath, saving his country.

You have to start now, with faith and focus.

Meditation: Genesis 12; 1 Samuel 17; Luke 2.
